Me di cuenta de que puedes usar eso para hacer m\u00fasica. Puedes usar cualquier audio, cualquier archivo de sonido, lo que sea, y literalmente ponerlo en una pieza de vinilo para manipularlo con tus manos.<br \/>\nTY: Por a\u00f1os hablamos &#8211; especialmente con Jonny &#8211; sobre grabar partes en vinilo y ensamblarlas as\u00ed. Pero nunca lo hicimos, y ahora este software aparece.<br \/>\nNG: Es muy complicado hacerlo. Recuerdo al ingeniero, un d\u00eda que est\u00e1bamos hablando sobre hacer un lado con surcos cerrados y nos dijo \u00abmmmh, creo que ese d\u00eda me enfermar\u00e9\u00bb. \u00a1Es tan dif\u00edcil hacer esas cosas!<br \/>\nTY: <em>\u00abThe Gloaming\u00bb<\/em> surgi\u00f3 de esa idea de manipular surcos cerrados. Pero al final simplemente usamos bucles multipista.<br \/>\nNG: De todas maneras, presentarte como DJ te hace pensar a la m\u00fasica en otros t\u00e9rminos y c\u00f3mo la m\u00fasica encaja con otras piezas. Todo est\u00e1 en el aire. Tiene mucho de reacci\u00f3n en el momento, lo que me parece es fundamentalmente importante para lo que hacemos ahora.<br \/>\nTY: Es una forma interesante y diferente de responder a un grupo de gente en un cuarto pero sin tocar.<br \/>\nNG: Si, como tener una conversaci\u00f3n. Pero depende de vos &#8211; es decir, puedes hacer que explote o ponerle una toalla mojada arriba.<br \/>\nTY: Debo decir que no me gusta mucho de la cultura DJ que se ve. No me gusta eso de cobrar mucho dinero para solo venir y hacer tu puto set. Lo que no est\u00e1 mal, porque sabe que funciona y ha trabajado mucho en \u00e9l, pero a veces te quedas pensando \u00ab\u00bfEn serio? \u00bfQu\u00e9, en serio?\u00bb Es decir, mi DJ favorito, si lo ves como un interprete, es <em>Gaslamp Killer<\/em>. Me parece genial porque cambia de estilos todo el tiempo y le importa muy poco. Cuando estuve en Australia, Mark Pritchard hablaba sobre el hecho de que para muchos se trata de un medio de subsistencia, por eso hacen lo que saben que funciona, porque de otra forma no los contratan. Por eso es que no se arriesgan. Pero \u00e9l hablaba sobre, como por ejemplo en el <em>Panorama Bar<\/em> de Berl\u00edn y en <em>Plastic People<\/em> &#8211; al menos cuando comenzaron &#8211; en Londres y en el <em>Low End Theory<\/em> de Los\u00a0\u00c1ngeles\u00a0 la gente viene y pone lo que se les da la gana, y obviamente van a cambiar de estilos y de eso se trata!<br \/>\nNG: Thom tiene mucha m\u00e1s idea sobre lo que pasa, sobre qui\u00e9nes son estas personas.<br \/>\nTY: Me gusta escuchar un poco de las cosas nuevas.
