A continuaci\u00f3n, repasamos tres ocasiones en las que los de Oxford patearon el tablero de la promoci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Kid A<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>All\u00e1 por el a\u00f1o 2000, cuando las redes sociales todav\u00eda no exist\u00edan y la Internet era todav\u00eda un lugar muy oscuro y con poca animaci\u00f3n, Radiohead lanz\u00f3 una serie de clips cortos de animaci\u00f3n para promocionar su cuarto \u00e1lbum, <em>Kid A<\/em>. Los \u00abblips\u00bb &#8211; como fueron conocidos en aquel momento &#8211; duraban en promedio quince segundos y estaban musicalizados por diferentes fragmentos de los temas del \u00e1lbum. En general, la tem\u00e1tica visual segu\u00eda las lineas del arte de tapa del \u00e1lbum, aunque algunos capturaban a la banda tocando en el estudio. Sin embargo, en las semanas previas al gran anuncio hab\u00edan mandado mensajes en c\u00f3digo utilizando unos simp\u00e1ticos personajes, revelando <a href=\"http:\/\/www.exitmusic.com.ar\/news\/2007\/09\/25\/codigos-enigmas-y-criptogramas\/\">fragmentos de letras o peque\u00f1os mensajes<\/a> a los fans. Las im\u00e1genes se publicaban diariamente a trav\u00e9s de su flamante &#8211; en aquel entonces &#8211; blog personal, <em>Dead Air Space<\/em>, en la secci\u00f3n especial \u00abHodiau Direkton\u00bb (o \u00abIndicaci\u00f3n del d\u00eda\u00bb en esperanto).<br>Al respecto de la maniobra del \u00abpaga-lo-que-quieras\u00bb, la banda luego coment\u00f3 que la l\u00f3gica detr\u00e1s de ello fue \u00abcontrolar la fuga\u00bb del material en la red &#8211; algo que los hab\u00eda afectado en 2003 cuando se filtr\u00f3 material sin masterizar de su \u00e1lbum <em>Hail to the Thief<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.exitmusic.com.ar\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/septe22.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"410\" src=\"http:\/\/www.exitmusic.com.ar\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/septe22.jpg\" alt=\"septe22\" class=\"wp-image-8354\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.exitmusic.com.ar\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/septe22.jpg 500w,  https:\/\/www.exitmusic.com.ar\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/septe22-300x246.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>The King of Limbs<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Consecuente con la tem\u00e1tica \u00abperi\u00f3dico\u00bb de la edici\u00f3n limitada de su octavo trabajo, <em>The King of Limbs<\/em>, la banda promocion\u00f3 el \u00e1lbum repartiendo el diario <em>The Universal Sigh<\/em> en varios puntos de Europa y Estados Unidos de manera gratuita &#8211; Latinoam\u00e9rica qued\u00f3 fuera del esquema original, pero varios sitios de fans se encargaron de corregir el problema.
